Yes, and you stay in control from start to finish. Search for the domain on our site: if it is already registered elsewhere, a “Transfer to us” button appears. Paste the authorization code (EPP/authcode) provided by your current registrar — after unlocking the domain —, add it to your cart, then pay: we initiate the transfer with the registry. You can also start the transfer while ordering a hosting plan or a VPS: at the “I have a domain” step, the “Transfer my domain from another provider” option takes you to the same flow. The transfer usually extends the domain by one year. Our team stays by your side to support you.

An incoming transfer you have initiated appears in your client area, under “Domain names”, with its status until it is validated by the registry. Conversely, to transfer a domain from us to another provider, open its details page in the client area: the “EPP code” tab gives you the authorization code, and you can lift the transfer lock there. Support is available to assist you if needed.

The registry refuses a transfer when the authorization code (EPP/authcode) is wrong or expired, or when the domain is still locked at your current registrar. First ask them to lift that lock and to give you a new code. Then open the order concerned in your client area, under “My orders”: a panel lets you enter the new code there, and the transfer restarts right away, with no new payment — you are notified of the result. .ma domains are registered for a minimum of 1 year, renewable before expiration. We send you reminders before the deadline.

You receive reminders before expiration. Renewal is done from your client area at the current rate (e.g. 139 DH/year for a .ma, 118 DH/year for a .com). After expiration, a grace period generally lets you recover the domain.

Yes, DNS management is free and included. Enable managed DNS from the DNS tab of your domain: we host your zone and automatically delegate your name servers, then you create your A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT (SPF/DKIM) and other records in one click from your client area.

Yes, you can register a domain on its own and point it to any host. You can add hosting with us at any time.

In one click: from the DNS tab of your domain (“Attach to a VPS”) or from your VPS console (“Attached domains”), choose the server — we automatically create the A record pointing to its IP address. You can also order or transfer a domain directly for a VPS: the pointing will happen as soon as it is activated.

Yes, on the extensions that allow it: the “WHOIS Privacy” option replaces your registrant contact details with substitute details in the public WHOIS/RDAP directory. You can tick it when searching for a domain, for a new registration, and its yearly price is shown next to the checkbox. It cannot be added to an incoming transfer. It does not exist for .ma domains or their sub-extensions: the national registry (ANRT) makes no provision for WHOIS privacy.

The registrant contact (Whois) identifies the owner of a domain name — name, email, phone and address — and applies to all extensions. The easiest way: create a reusable record, just once, from “My contacts” in your client area; you can then reuse it on any domain (allowing you to register a domain on behalf of a third party). If you already have a record, you can associate it at the time of ordering; otherwise, no entry is required to finalize your first purchase — a reminder invites you to complete the registrant details right afterward, from the domain's details page. For a .ma domain, ANRT additionally requires a copy of the registrant's document (national ID card, passport or residence permit for an individual, ICE or RC for a company): you upload it after ordering, from the domain's details page, without it blocking your purchase.

For .ma domains, the registry (ANRT) now requires a copy of the registrant's supporting document — no longer just its number: national ID card, passport or residence permit for an individual, or company registration proof (ICE / RC) for a business. Upload it from your client area, on the affected domain's page. Mind the order: the domain must first have a registrant contact linked (the “Registrant to complete” banner); once that contact is filled in, the “Registrant supporting document” section and its upload area appear right below. Accepted formats are PDF, JPG or PNG, 5 MB max per file, 2 files maximum so you can attach both sides of an ID card. Our team verifies it before forwarding it to the registry. Without this document, ANRT may block and then delete your .ma domain — it does not block your order, but complete it as soon as possible.

No: a domain name is registered immediately with the registry (ANRT for .ma). Since the service is performed without delay, the domain is neither taken back nor refunded (General Terms of Sale, art. 7).

Transferring a ‎.ma domain follows specific rules set by the national registry (ANRT): your domain must have been active for at least 60 days, its transfer lock must be removed, and you must provide the EPP authorization code from your current registrar. Yes. ServOrbit registers .ma domains for companies and individuals regardless of their country of residence. The ANRT (Morocco's telecom regulator) does not impose a Moroccan residency requirement for most .ma extensions. For registration in the name of a legal entity, the ANRT requires a commercial register extract (RC) dated within the last three months. Depending on the chosen extension (.ma, .co.ma, .net.ma…), additional documents may be needed. ServOrbit collects and submits these documents to the ANRT during checkout; the exact requirements are shown at the verification step of the registration process in your client area.

Yes, the ANRT charter allows letters (a-z), digits (0-9) and hyphens — except at the start or end of the name, and no two consecutive hyphens. The length must be between 2 and 63 characters. Case is not taken into account (mon-domaine.ma = MON-DOMAINE.ma).

ANRT requires any company to provide proof of legal existence (trade register or equivalent), a valid ID of the legal representative, and a document demonstrating the link between the company and the requested domain name (company name, registered trademark, etc.). These documents are uploaded directly during your order on ServOrbit; our team submits them to ANRT and notifies you of validation within 5 business days. If the file is incomplete, we will contact you for correction before any rejection.

From your client area, open the relevant domain page and go to the 'Nameservers' tab. Replace the current servers with those of your choice and confirm. The change usually propagates within a few hours, at most 24 hours. If you want to delegate DNS management to ServOrbit, enter our nameservers shown in that tab and activate managed DNS: the zone is then configured directly from your client area.

Yes. Simply update the nameservers of your domain at your current registrar to the ServOrbit ones, or create a DNS A record pointing to your hosting's IP address. The nameservers and IP to use are shown in your client area, on the details page of the relevant hosting service. DNS propagation typically takes from a few minutes to 24 hours depending on your registrar.

To transfer your domain name to ServOrbit, start by obtaining the EPP code (also known as the authorisation code or AuthInfo) from your current registrar. Make sure the domain is unlocked and that transfer protection is disabled. Then initiate the transfer from your ServOrbit client area by selecting the domain transfer option and entering the EPP code. The process typically takes between 5 and 7 business days, during which your domain remains active at your previous registrar.

Renew your .ma domain without delay from your ServOrbit client area to avoid any service interruption. .ma domains are governed by ANRT (Agence Nationale de Réglementation des Télécommunications) in Morocco, and the renewal process may involve additional administrative lead times. An unrenewed .ma domain enters a limited grace period before being released and potentially registered by a third party. Acting 30 days in advance gives you enough time to resolve any issues without risking the loss of your domain name.

Registrar Lock is a protection enabled by default on your domain to prevent unauthorized transfers: it blocks incoming registrar-change requests. To transfer your domain to another registrar, disable the lock from the domain management section in your client area, then retrieve your transfer code (EPP/Auth-Info). The lock is automatically re-enabled once the transfer period ends or if the transfer is cancelled.

From your client area, go to the DNS management of your domain and create an A or CNAME record pointing to your hosting or VPS. For an HTTP redirect (301/302) rather than plain DNS resolution, enable URL redirection in cPanel or configure a rule in your web server.
