Order a ServOrbit VPS

Any plan with 1 GB+ RAM is sufficient. OpenObserve uses under 10 MB at idle; choose Ubuntu 24.04.

One-click install

Select OpenObserve in the ServOrbit marketplace and click Deploy. Docker is installed and the container starts automatically — no manual configuration needed.

Open the dashboard

Navigate to http://:5080 in your browser. Log in with the credentials shown in your VPS control panel.

Send your first log

From any server, run: curl -u [email protected]: -XPOST http://:5080/api/default/default/_json -H 'Content-Type: application/json' -d '[{"message":"hello openobserve"}]'. The log appears instantly in the Logs explorer.

Connect an agent (optional)

Install Fluent Bit or Vector on your application servers and point the output to your OpenObserve OTLP endpoint on port 5081. Logs and metrics flow in within seconds.
