ERPNext is one of the most complete open-source ERPs on the market, built on the Frappe framework. It covers all of a company's processes — double-entry accounting, invoicing, multi-warehouse inventory management, manufacturing (bills of materials, production orders), CRM, purchasing, projects, payroll and human resources — in a unified suite, with no per-user license cost.

Deployed on your own VPS, ERPNext keeps all your management data on your infrastructure: no monthly per-seat subscription, no transfer to third-party servers. The full stack (Frappe, MariaDB, Redis, task queue) runs in Docker containers from a single Compose file, and site creation happens automatically on first boot. More powerful than Dolibarr for companies with industrial or multi-company processes, it remains 100% customizable through its low-code builder.

Key features

Double-entry, multi-currency and multi-company accounting
Multi-warehouse inventory management with batch and serial-number traceability
Manufacturing module: bills of materials, routings, production orders and planning
CRM, sales and purchasing — quotes, orders, deliveries and invoicing linked end to end
HR and payroll: employees, leave, expense reports, payslips
Low-code customization: fields, workflows and reports without writing code

3

Multi-company group

Consolidate the accounting of several entities, with distinct charts of accounts and currencies, in a single instance.

Deploy ERPNext on your VPS

Guide optimized for ServOrbit Cloud VPS.

01

Create the VPS

VPS with 4 GB RAM minimum (8 GB recommended), Ubuntu 22.04. Select the "ERPNext" template: the Frappe, MariaDB and Redis stack is installed and the site created automatically.

02

First access

Point your domain to the VPS and go to http://votre-ip:8080. Log in with the Administrator user and the initial password provided by the deployment wizard.

03

Setup wizard

Enter your company, your currency, your fiscal year and your time zone. ERPNext pre-configures the chart of accounts suited to your country.

04

Enable the modules

From the workspace, enable the useful domains (Accounting, Inventory, Manufacturing, CRM, HR…) and hide the rest to simplify the interface.

05

Create the users

Add your team members and assign roles (accountant, warehouse clerk, sales, HR) for fine-grained access control.
