What is a domain's owner contact?
The owner contact (often called the 'Whois contact') identifies the official owner of a domain name: name, email, phone and address. It is this identity that the registry associates with the domain and that serves as proof for sensitive operations — renewal, locking, transfer or change of owner. Registering it correctly means securing your domain's ownership from day one.
One identity valid for every extension
Whether you register a .ma, a .com, a .net or any other extension, the principle is the same: a clearly identified registrant. ServOrbit lets you register one or more reusable owner records and link one to any domain. This way you can register a domain for yourself, for your company, or for a client — without re-entering the same information on every order.
What an owner record contains
- The registrant's name (individual) or the company's legal name.
- A contact email and phone — used by the registry for important notifications.
- The registrant's postal address.
- For a .ma domain: the identity required by the ANRT (ID document for an individual, ICE or RC for a company).

From « My contacts » in your client area, register a registrant (individual or company). Create as many as you need and set the one to use by default.
Choose at checkout
At the payment step, link a contact to each domain in the cart — an entirely optional step; your order is never blocked.
Complete it later
You can also link or change the owner contact after purchase, directly from the domain's page in your client area.
The special case of .ma
For a .ma domain, the ANRT may require the registrant's identity (ID document, ICE or RC). ServOrbit flags this without blocking your order: the domain shows as « owner to be completed » until the identity is provided, and you complete it whenever you wish.
