Wallos

Wallos: self-hosted subscription tracker — centralize all your recurring expenses on your VPS, multi-currency and fully private.

< 50 MB RAM 1 vCPU Port 8282 Available

Wallos is a GPL-3.0 self-hosted subscription manager that gives you a complete, private view of everything you pay for. Install it on a ServOrbit VPS and add your subscriptions — SaaS tools, streaming services, domain registrations, cloud APIs — with their cost, currency, billing cycle and renewal date.

Wallos converts every cost to a single reference currency (your choice) so you can see your real total monthly spend at a glance, even when you mix USD, EUR and MAD subscriptions. A dashboard with charts tracks spending over time; email or webhook notifications warn you before a renewal fires.

Because Wallos runs on SQLite and a single Docker container, it starts on the smallest VPS plan and uses less than 50 MB of RAM. No credit-card data is ever stored — Wallos only records what you tell it.

Key features

Multi-currency support with automatic conversion to a reference currency (MAD, EUR, USD and 170+ others)
Visual dashboard showing total monthly and annual spend with per-category breakdowns
Renewal reminders via email, Telegram, Discord, Slack, Gotify or generic webhook
OIDC single sign-on (Authelia, Authentik, Keycloak) — optional, no setup required to start
Logo auto-fetch from Clearbit and custom upload for branded subscription cards
CSV export and import — move your data out at any time
GPL-3.0 licence — no feature tiers, unlimited subscriptions, your data on your server

When to use this solution?

1

Developer tool-spend tracking

Add every SaaS API key, IDE licence, CI plan and cloud bill. Wallos converts them all to MAD (or any reference currency) so you know exactly what your stack costs each month — before the card statement arrives.

2

Agency budget control

Create one entry per client tool or retainer. Group by category (hosting, design, marketing) and export the CSV each month to cross-check against invoices. Renewal alerts mean no more surprise charges.

3

Family or team subscription audit

Invite team members to your Wallos instance. Each person logs their own subscriptions; the shared dashboard shows duplicates (three people paying for the same tool separately) and forgotten trials still billing.

Deploy Wallos on your VPS

Guide optimized for ServOrbit Cloud VPS.

01

Create your VPS

Wallos runs on the smallest ServOrbit VPS plan — the single-container stack uses under 50 MB of RAM and a few hundred megabytes of disk. No domain name is required: you can access the dashboard via SSH tunnel and add one later for remote access from any browser.

02

Deploy Wallos from the Marketplace

In your ServOrbit client area: Marketplace → ERP & Business Management → Wallos → Deploy. The container starts in a few seconds and stores everything in two Docker volumes (wallos_db for the SQLite database, wallos_logos for uploaded logos).

03

Sign in for the first time

Wallos shows a setup screen on first launch: enter a username, email address and password to create your admin account. Once registered, you land directly on the dashboard. Access without a domain: open an SSH tunnel with ssh -L 8080:127.0.0.1:<port> root@<your-vps-ip>, then visit http://localhost:8080 — use the port shown on your app card in the client area.

04

Add your subscriptions

Click Add Subscription, enter the service name, cost, currency and billing cycle (monthly, annual, weekly or custom). Choose a category, set the next payment date, and save. Repeat for each subscription — or import a CSV if you have a spreadsheet already.

05

Set up renewal alerts

In Settings → Notifications, configure how many days before renewal you want a reminder. Connect a Telegram bot, a Discord webhook, a Slack channel or any URL endpoint. Wallos sends an alert for each upcoming renewal — no manual calendar entries needed.
