WordPress powers more than 43% of the world's websites. On your ServOrbit VPS, WordPress has dedicated resources that let it reach its maximum performance — where shared hosting imposes strict limits on PHP memory, the number of processes and simultaneous connections.

The WordPress template configures Nginx (more performant than Apache for WordPress), PHP-FPM, MariaDB and Redis for object caching. Everything follows WordPress performance recommendations: OPcache enabled, Redis cache, security headers and gzip compression — with no complex configuration plugin.

Key features

Nginx + PHP-FPM optimized for WordPress (FastCGI cache)
MariaDB for maximum plugin compatibility
Redis for WordPress object caching (W3 Total Cache)
PHP OPcache enabled — bytecode is compiled once, not on every request
Automatic Let's Encrypt HTTPS
WP-CLI installed for command-line management

When to use this solution?

1

SMB showcase site

Professional site with Elementor or Gutenberg, optimal performance and predictable cost.

2

Media blog

Regular article publishing with Redis cache — no slowdown even under heavy load.

3

WooCommerce

Solid foundation for a WooCommerce store — dedicated VPS, no shared neighbors.

Deploy WordPress on your VPS

Guide optimized for ServOrbit Cloud VPS.

01

Create the VPS

Select "WordPress" from the catalog. Minimum 2 GB RAM for WordPress in production.

02

Access the installation

Point your domain to the VPS IP. Go to votre-domaine.com — the WordPress installation wizard appears.

03

Finalize the installation

Complete the WordPress installation (site title, admin, email). WP-CLI is available to automate this step.

04

Configure the cache

Install W3 Total Cache or WP Rocket. In the Object Cache settings, enable Redis (host: 127.0.0.1, port: 6379).

05

SSL and domain

Attach your domain to the app from your ServOrbit client area: the nginx vhost and the TLS certificate are set up for you, there is no certbot to run. Then set the site address to https://your-domain under Settings › General.
