Automatisch is a self-hosted workflow automation platform that lets you connect your applications and automate repetitive tasks without writing code. GitHub, Slack, Notion, Stripe, Google Sheets — with 100+ integrations available, you build flows by choosing a trigger (incoming webhook, app event, or schedule), then chaining the actions you need.

Unlike Zapier or Make (Integromat), Automatisch runs entirely on your server. There is no cloud subscription, no per-task pricing, and no third-party handling your data. The stack consists of four services: a main app (web UI + API + scheduler), a dedicated worker for async jobs, PostgreSQL for state, and Redis for the queue — all coordinated via Docker Compose.

The workflow editor is intentionally simple: choose your trigger app, configure the event, then add action steps one by one. Between steps, you can transform data using built-in JavaScript expressions or pass fields through unchanged. A dedicated logs panel shows the exact payload at each step, so debugging a broken flow is a matter of reading the trace rather than guessing.

Key features

100+ native integrations (GitHub, GitLab, Slack, Notion, Airtable, Stripe, Google Sheets, Telegram, Discord…) with triggers and actions configurable without code.
Visual workflow editor — chain steps, add conditions and transform data between steps using built-in JavaScript expressions.
Unique incoming webhooks per flow — expose a dedicated URL to trigger automations from any external service.
Dedicated background worker — scheduled tasks and async executions run independently from the web UI process.
Detailed execution logs — inspect each step's input and output payload, and replay failed executions directly from the dashboard.
AGPL-3.0 licence — auditable source code, no paid plans, unlimited users, hosted on your own infrastructure.

When to use this solution?

1

Team tool synchronisation

Connect GitHub and Slack to notify your team on every new PR or review comment. Link Airtable and Notion to sync status updates without manual copy-paste. Automatisch routes events between your existing tools without any data touching a third-party cloud.

2

Lead collection and routing

On every form submission (Typeform, Tally, Gravity Forms), fire a flow that enriches the record in your CRM, adds the contact to your email list and notifies the responsible sales rep on Slack — all in under a second, without manual intervention.

3

Automated business alerts

Monitor your API, database or file storage: whenever a condition is met (5xx error, stock below threshold, new file uploaded), Automatisch sends a targeted notification — email, Slack webhook, Telegram message — and logs the event for audit.

Deploy Automatisch on your VPS

Guide optimized for ServOrbit Cloud VPS.

01

Create the VPS and point the domain

Automatisch builds webhook URLs from the HOST variable: a domain is required for your flows to receive external events. In your DNS manager, point a subdomain (automatisch.yourdomain.com) to your VPS IP before deploying.

02

Deploy from the marketplace

In your ServOrbit client area: Marketplace → Automation → Automatisch → Deploy. Enter your domain in the form — it will be injected as HOST in the configuration. The stack starts within a few minutes: webapp, worker, PostgreSQL and Redis.

03

Create your admin account

Open https://your-domain/auth/sign-up in your browser. Enter your email address and a password to create the first account. This account will be the instance administrator. Once signed in, you land directly on the connections dashboard.

04

Connect your first application

In the dashboard, click ConnectionsAdd connection, choose an app (Slack, GitHub, Google Sheets…) and follow the OAuth flow. The connection is saved and can be reused across all your flows.

05

Create your first workflow

Click FlowsCreate flow. Add a trigger (incoming webhook, app event or schedule), then chain the actions you want. Enable the flow with the Publish button — it now runs automatically on every trigger.

Frequently asked questions

Automatisch generates unique webhook URLs from the HOST variable. Without a valid domain, these URLs point to localhost and cannot receive external events. On ServOrbit, the free subdomain included with every VPS works from day one.
