Deploy and manage modern applications.
Termix — SSH terminal, SFTP files and Docker for all your servers, in the browser. Open-source alternative to Termius.
In validation
Automatic installation for this solution is ready and currently going through our tests on a real server. Ordering will open as soon as validation is complete.
Termix is an open-source (Apache-2.0) server management platform, built as a self-hosted Termius. Save your hosts and SSH keys once, then open a terminal, browse files over SFTP, manage Docker containers or read CPU, memory and disk metrics from any browser, the desktop app or your phone.
The core keeps hosts, per-user encrypted credentials, sharing and sessions; everything else — terminal, file manager, Docker, RDP/VNC remote desktop, tunnels, command snippets — is a plugin you can switch on or off. One Docker container, built-in SQLite, no external database: running on a VPS, Termix stays reachable even when the network it manages goes down.
Group production, staging and client servers in tagged folders. One click opens the terminal or the file manager, from your desk or from your phone.
Share a host with a colleague or a contractor at the connect level: they open a session without ever seeing the private key, and the audit log records every access.
An incident while travelling? Termix runs in the browser and on mobile: restart a container, read a log or edit a config file without a laptop.
Guide optimized for ServOrbit Cloud VPS.
Order an Ubuntu 24.04 VPS with at least 1 GB of RAM. Termix requires a domain: it opens over HTTPS on a sub-domain of one of your domains, or on the VPS's free sub-domain (termix.{dns_slug}.servorbit-dns.com), HTTPS included. No need to buy a domain name.
In your client area, select Termix, choose the address and click Install. The script deploys the container and configures the nginx reverse proxy over HTTPS, including WebSockets for the terminal.
Open https://your-domain as soon as the installation finishes: Termix shows the sign-up form, and the first account created becomes the administrator. Do it right away, then turn off public registration in the admin settings.
Click Add host, enter the server's IP address or hostname, the SSH port and the user, then pick a password or a private key saved in the vault. The terminal opens in a new tab.
Turn on two-factor authentication (TOTP) or a passkey in your profile, and create one account per person rather than a shared one: the audit log and role-based sharing rely on named accounts.
A secure entry point to your infrastructure. A configured, hardened SSH jump host with centralised audit logs.
