What the .tg registry asks of anyone registering a name, rule by rule, with the source of each statement and the date we read it.
What the .tg registry requires
Open to any registrant
Individual or company, in Togo or elsewhere: registering a .tg requires neither a local presence nor a local administrative contact.

No procedure at registration
No document is requested when you order. The registry may still ask for one afterwards: enter accurate registrant details.

First come, first served
The registry allocates each name to the first applicant. Check availability before you build a brand or a campaign on a name.

One to two days to register
Registering a .tg is not instant: allow one to two days between the paid order and entry in the registry.

A .tg WHOIS that reads the registry
The .tg registry does not publish an RDAP service, but it has a public WHOIS. Our .tg WHOIS queries it and keeps only the registrar, the activation and expiry dates, the status and the name servers.

Check whether your .tg is available
What this page does not tell you
Whether a given name is free, reserved or sold at a premium price: the domain search tells you, at the moment you search.
The registry can change its rules. Each rule is dated from the day we read it; where anything differs, the registry's own text prevails.
